UNI-T UT383 is a lightweight and handy digital lux meter designed to measure light intensity in Lux and Fc units. Thanks to its large measuring range and fast response time, it will prove useful both in professional work - such as in design offices, industrial plants, photo studios - and in everyday use at home, school or gardening. The meter is distinguished by its simplicity of operation and easy-to-read backlit screen.

Wide measurement range

The UT383 can measure light intensity from 0 to 199,900 Lux or 0 to 18,500 Fc. Automatic resolution changes are available for different brightness levels - from 1 Lux to 100 Lux and from 1 Fc to 10 Fc, depending on the range. Measurement accuracy reaches ±(4% + 8) at lower values and ±(5% + 10) at higher values, allowing accurate control of lighting conditions in working, public and private spaces.

Efficient operation

The sampling time is just 0.5 seconds, so you get up-to-date data almost instantly. MAX/MIN functions allow you to track extreme values, and the Data Hold option lets you keep the current result on the screen. Additional conveniences include automatic shutdown after a period of inactivity, an overload (OL) alarm and a low battery indicator.

Clear display and lightweight design

The meter features a 32 × 26 mm backlit LCD screen that provides good readability even in low ambient light. The whole unit weighs just 118 g. Thanks to its compact size (160 × 50 × 28 mm), the UT383 can be conveniently carried in a pocket, bag or tool case.
